Our story
45 Years of Honest Work on Oakland's Cars
For 45 years, Gomes Tire & Services Center has been fixing flats, mounting new tires, and keeping cars safe on the road in Oakland. It's the kind of shop where the price we quote you on the phone is the price you pay, no hard-sell tactics.
We built our reputation on treating people right, not just their cars. When a customer once came up $200 short, we finished the job anyway and told them to bring the rest in whenever they could. That's just how we do business.
Beyond tires, we check TPMS sensors, inspect brakes, and go over every wheel while your car is on the lift, because a flat repair is a good time to catch a problem before it becomes an expensive one.

What customers say
“The best experience. I needed a lot done to my car and I did not have enough to pay to get everything done at once, well the owner went ahead and had all the work done with me being $200.00 short and he said bring it back when you have it. He has been in business 45 years and this is why he is in business still. My car is like a brand new one.”
“Had a small leak in my tire. Called them and drove over there, fixed it under 30 minutes and they also checked every tire, as well as the TPMS sensors. Was able to be serviced same day and only 40 dollars for the flat repair. Needless to say would recommend this place. Way faster than Costco.”
“I was very pleased with this business. They were friendly, efficient, and the price was reasonable for a tire.”
